The Great CT Traditional Jazz Festival 2007
                        Executive and Operational Board Recruitment

Folks we have several positions to be filled on our Board.  If you feel you can offer more time to the festival and have experience/expertise in a certain area we welcome you to fill out an application for us. 
Following positions are open:

EXECUTIVE BOARD: this is a full year commitment , meetings are at least one per month with other team leaders, you will have voting rights on all major decisions…….

MARKETING -Team Leader/Supervisor

Responsibilities: ADVERTISING -  Website, Print PR, Radio/TV/Newspapers
			                        Chamber of Commerce, Tourism
                                                        Group Sales, Jazz Society, 
                                                        Promotional Vouchers,
                                                        Supervises Print Production.

OPERATIONAL BOARD: this is also a full yr commitment, works under a
                                          Executive Team Leader, may attend meetings
                                         As need arises.

 PRINT PRODUCTION -Co-ordinates ALL Print of:
                                       Brochures(layout, design, proof reader
                                       Advertising/program ads etc.)
                                        Flyers, programs, posters,reminder postcards                                                                  
                                        DISTRIBUTION OF ABOVE
                                            Team Leader-  Marketing

BEVERAGE TEAM LEADER-Responsibilities:  take bids and secures
                       Vendors/contracts for all  wine/beer/soda/wtr/cups . 
                       Sets up/tear down all liquor/bev. stations at venues  etc.
                       With team of 2-3 keeps all venues stocked/ replenished, all
                       Shifts of Festival, starting with thurs (26th ) vol. party.

ASS’T TO PUBICLITY TEAM LEADER  Irene Cowern, help Irene is all aspects of getting publicity for festival (ass’t is not part of board) 





PARKING/HANDICAP GOLF CART TEAM LEADER-responsibilities: obtaining             
                        Contracts with civic organization for festival parking.
                        Gives this group instruction/guidelines, respons.parking passes
                         Co-ordinates team of golf cart drivers, guidelines/instruction
                         Schedules carts/walkie/talkies ,responsible for full coverage
                         Team Leader under DIRT CREW
